Retractable Canopies FAQ

Canopies can start from as little as £4000, however there is much to consider when pricing your canopy, such as size and any add on, like lighting and heating. There is also a difference in quality depending on your budget, from our more basic retractable canopy systems, to our premium Renson Camargue, which takes advantage of fully integrated state of the art technology.

Due to changes in customs with Brexit and Covid-19, our canopies range from 6 – 10 weeks for delivery, however our premium louvered canopies are currently in the range of 22 weeks. Our project managers will be able to advise which systems can be provided quicker than others with similar functions and design, if time is of the essence.

If you are installing a canopy in your garden, you will not normally need planning permission. However for all instances, it does depend on the surroundings and if you’re building is listed. Commercial canopy customers should ensure they have full permission to have a canopy installation before ordering.

A canopy installation can take anywhere from 1-3 days depending on the size, be sure to take this into consideration in your diary. On larger and more complex builds, installation can take up to 5 days. If purchasing a commercial canopy, consider how this will affect your business and opening hours ahead of time.
