The strength of this is offered by the framework that unlike most sails is attached to the canopy all the way round its perimeter, preventing canopy sagging or wind damage. Benefitting from all of the features of the Airzone Tipo 150 with regards to an integral guttering system and high quality PVC canopy, the Velar 150 Shade Sail is the perfect solution for those looking to create an eye catching covered area.

The unit is freestanding and is ideal for creating a feature area within your grounds, highlighting a building entrance, creating a dining space or as a playground shelter.

    The Velar 150 Canopy is available from 4m x 4m up to 6m x 6m

    Use: Designed to be left open all year round - 365 days a year.

    The school canopies have a unique gutter system whereby the beams act as gutters. Water runs off the canopy, into the beam, down through the leg columns and out through a drainage hole at the bottom.

    This helps to prevent puddles from forming in the school yard and pupils getting wet or bringing water into the building. The canopy is 100% UV resistant, waterproof and fire retardant to British Standards BS7157, BS7837 and European M2 classification.

FRAMEWORK: The structure is manufactured from a powdercoated and galvanised steel framework that works as an integral guttering system whilst the canopy is made from a PVDF coated PVC that is fully waterproof and UV resistant.

    The steel framework is available in a galvanised only or galvanised and powdercoated finish.

    The canopy is manufactured from a choice of PVDF coated PVC materials. The PVC material is fully UV resistant, waterproof, fire retardant and has anti-fungicidal properties.
